I started Cherri because I wanted underwear that fit my body, didn't ride up in my delicate regions, didn't suffocate my downstairs, and were actually cute.
As Cherri has grown, so many of you have shared that you were looking for the same things. Your feedback has helped shape what I make, from the cuts you reach for every day to the colors you ask me to bring back. Like, quite literally you fill out surveys for me time and time again so I can make all the perfect panties of your dreams.

If you’ve ever found your favorite pair only to see that your size was sold out, I'm sorryyyyy I know it's frustrating! I’m always excited to bring your favorites back, but each restock takes planning, fabric, and people who help turn those plans into actual panties.
With another round of pre-orders opening, I wanted to share a little more of that process with you and why ordering ahead has become such an important part of how I run Cherri!
This pre-order, at a glance: The Mid-Rise Thong, G-String, and Bikini Brief are back for $18 a pair (usually $22). Our September 2026 pre-order batch ships by November 30, 2026. Quantities are capped by size and color based on the fabric I have on hand, so some options may sell out before pre-orders close.
Making underwear with a little more thought
There are a lot of decisions tucked into a little pair of underwear. What the fabric feels like against your skin, how the gusset fits, who makes it, how much to produce in the first place. etc etc etc
I care about all of those things! I care a lot about a lot of things! Maybe I care too much but it's fine I also have control issues and that probably explains it!
In my interview with Making Sustainability Sexy, I talked about wanting to grow Cherri around actual demand. Making something new has an impact, and being thoughtful about what I commit to producing is one way I try to run this business with more care.
Pre-orders help me understand what you actually want to buy. Your orders give me a clearer picture of which sizes, colors, and styles you’re waiting for, and help me plan with less guesswork.
They also give me a little more security as a small business owner. There’s a lot to organize and pay for before a restock reaches the warehouse, and knowing that some of those pairs already have a home makes planning the next run a little easier.
Why Cherri pre-orders can still sell out
When you pre-order, you’re reserving a pair from an upcoming production. But that batch still has a limit.
For this run, I’ve set an allocation for each size and color based on how much fabric I have on hand. Once those pairs are reserved, that option closes until a future run, when I can have more fabric knitted.

That’s why you might see a size sell out even though production hasn’t finished yet. All the pairs planned for that option have already been spoken for.
The cap is part of how I try to limit overproduction. I want to be thoughtful about how much fabric I buy and how much underwear I commit to making, while building a business that can keep bringing your favorites back.
I also want to make sure I have room for extras, in case any one needs to exchange for a different size, style, or color once they try them on. Exchanges are always free and I want to make sure I have stock reserved so people can find their perfect fit!
So if you’ve been waiting for a particular pair, pre-ordering secures yours from this batch, even if your size sells out afterward.
Growing Cherri, one restock at a time
It took six years of growing Cherri little by little to bring our everyday price from $28 down to $22 and down to $18 for special occasions (like pre-orders).
Choosing manufacturing partners carefully, caring about fair wages, and listening to customers have all shaped that process. Each run teaches me something, and those lessons help me plan the next one.
It hasn’t all been smooth, that’s for sure. At the end of the day, I am literally just a girl who is running this entire business by herself! There’s a lot to figure out while running this, but I want to keep making underwear you love at a price that feels more accessible, with care for the people and work behind it. All while being transparent through the process
What’s available in this pre-order?
The Mid-Rise Thong, G-String, and Bikini Brief are returning with Cherri’s signature wide gusset and soft Supima™ cotton / LENZING™ Modal fabric.
And yes, Teal Lagoon is coming back!
It was originally a limited edition summer color. You loved it, I loved it… so I just had to make more teal. It was the color of the summer and I just don't want summer to end!

When will my Cherri pre-order ship?
Cherri’s September 2026 pre-orders ship by November 30, 2026 latest. You'll probably get them sooner (our plan is for the goods to leave the factory in early November) but delays can happen and I don't want to jinx it.
But don't worry, I'll send an updated ETA when the product actually leaves the factory and makes it way toward the warehouse.

Everyone will receive a tracking email when their order ships. If the shipping timeline changes, we’ll contact affected customers directly with the revised timing and their options, and share the update here as well.

Can I change or cancel my pre-order?
Yes! You can request a size, color, or address change before your order ships. Size and color changes depend on what’s still available.
Reply to your order confirmation or email help@shopcherri.com with your order number and what you’d like changed.
You can also cancel any time before shipping for a full refund to your original payment method.
