What do you do for your community?
Every woman should have the opportunity to feel clean, comfortable, and confident in their own body. That’s why we donate underwear and hygiene products with each Cherri purchase to a women’s shelter in the US. Have you ever thought about the sanitary conditions homeless women face on a day-to-day basis, especially at the time of their month? Our mission is to help alleviate the struggles and encourage vaginal wellness for women everywhere.
Why should my underwear be organic cotton?
Cotton underwear is the best type of underwear you could treat your fancy bits to. Your skin is the largest organ on your body and your vagina is an extremely absorbent membrane. Cotton underwear prevents any growth of yeast and bacteria growth down there, because it lets the air flow through. If you are not wearing organic, you risk absorbing the harsh chemicals from bleaching and dyeing. That’s why our dyes are certified organic too. We eat organic, our skin-care is organic, so why aren’t our clothes?
What is Supima cotton?
Supima cotton is the cashmere of cotton, if you will. It’s the finest type of cotton grown in the USA with premium properties including strength and softness that outshines other types of cottons. It’s also the most eco-friendly type of cotton and it’s organic!
Where are your products made?
Cherri ethically sources materials from all around the US and makes everything right here in Brooklyn, New York. This not only ensures quality, but also builds upon our clean business practices. Even our cotton fibers are grown right here in the USA!
Is your packaging eco-friendly?
Yup! At Cherri, we’re always trying to improve our sustainability initiatives. For sanitary reasons, our underwear must be packaged in something protective, yet even this is made of compostable materials (no plastic)! Have ideas on how we can improve? Don’t hesitate to shoot us an email at email@example.com.
